Is there a Wide Range Bar Study like the Narrow Range Bar study where I can input X to determine widest range bar over last X bars?

Why does it not work, when using the volume study in Chart Region 2 and using the WRB Study based on the volume study and choosing Chart region 2 as well?
The goal is to find the largest volume candle of the past x bars..

The "Wide Range Bar" study uses the range of the bar, so it looks to the Open/High/Low/Close information for the bar to determine the range.

The Volume study does not have an Open/High/Low/Close, it is just a single subgraph. Therefore, what you are trying to do will not work.

For what you are wanting to do, use the Spreadsheet Study and use the MAX() function on the volume over the range you are interested in. This will give you the largest volume in that range. Refer to the following:
