Renko charts not displaying data

Good morning,

Just updated my Sierra Chart to version 2728. I am receiving my usual DOM market depth data but my Renko charts don't seem to be displaying anymore. I've attached the screenshot below (taken Saturday morning so it's resting orders but it serves the purpose). I'm subscribed to Denali data and have an AMP futures trading account. My charts are simple flex Renko bars without any real indicators. Nothing complicated.

I checked my account and logged into my AMP account and everything seems normal. I've been subscribed to package 10 and Denali data for a long time without making any recent changes.

Lastly, I did some extra work on this and it seems that it's specifically the Renko setting that isn't working. I'm able to load all other Bar Period types except any of the Renko settings. It's not just Flex Renko that I use but I am unable to load any of the Renko bar periods.

Can you please advise if you have any recommendations?

Thank you for looking at this.

We are curious - now that the exchange is open, are your charts working properly or not?

If not, then what are your "Flex Renko" bar settings?

Thank you for the follow-up.

I forgot to mention in my original post that the Renko charts returned to normal functioning when I reverted my Sierra Charts back to the previous version.

Additionally, it is not only the Flex Renko that isn't working on the current version. It is all Renko bar period options.

Attached is a screenshot with the market open using the current version.

Not sure if this helps at all. I have been experimenting with different ideas.

The charts seem to load if I use the SierraChart_ARM64 file instead of the SierraChart_64 file to start up the application.

Does that make any sense?

What kind of system are you using to run Sierra Chart? Are you using an emulator of some kind?

I am using Parallels to run Windows 11 Pro. I have used this set-up for years without issues.

I just ran a fresh install of Sierra to see if it was my install and this is the message log. I opened a simple ES chart, then tried to change the bar period to Renko and then Flex Renko.

We see you are getting an exception. Maybe there is an out of memory condition. But normally that is handled separately.

Try reducing the amount of data in the chart with this setting:
Chart Settings: Days to Load for Intraday Chart Data Type (Chart >> Chart Settings >> Data Limiting >> Load Data Limiting Method: Days to Load menu)

Try reducing this to 1 day.

It was already limited to 2 days. I was hoping it was something easy.

So that I don't take too much more of your time, I will simply keep using 2734 for now. It seems something happened between version 2734 and 2735 that has caused this.

Thank you for looking into it.

We do not see any issues, both of the charts load just fine. This is one of them:

Can confirm the behavior that "grayfrog" describes. I am also using Parallels to run Windows 11 Pro with a Mac M3 Pro and since updating to 2739 I also get an error when trying to load Renko or FlexRenko charts other types like range and minute works normally.
And also only when using SierraChart_64 - with SierraChart_ARM64 all works normally.

Yes, one option, but it leads to issues with private studies that are x64 compiled. Will just stay on 2734 for now.
Would just assume that it's some sort of issue on your side that will be fixed again in coming versions.

If you have the source code for the studies, in the latest version of Sierra Chart these can be built for ARM through Analysis >> Build Custom Studies DLL >> Build >> Remote Build - ARM64.

If you update to the latest version of Sierra Chart the issue may be resolved using the non-ARM version. The issue relates to particular CPU instructions being used that we have now disabled in the latest version.
