Can Target Limit order Maintain fixed Price Data When New Positions Added?

Hi team, When I add a new OCO order, the target is set at a fixed 100C - I'd like to keep it that way. However when I add to a position the target Limit order value changes relative to the average position. I've attached 2 pics to explain this visually. Is it possible to have each target Limit order maintain its price relative to where the position was opened? So I can adjust it on the chart and know how far it is from where it was opened. I feel like this is a simple setting I've missed but spent hours searching and I've tried all config options available - please can you point me in the right direction? Many thanks |

We think the system is doing what you want, but you need to understand what you are looking at. If you open a position with a 100C offset for the Target, then when you add to the position and you have "Scale In" enabled, then the "Position Average Price" is changing to be the average of the orders that you have put in. But the Target will not have moved relative to the first order. Therefore, since the Position Average Price has changed, the offset that is shown in the Target is now different from what it was originally, but it is still 100C away from the first order. Hi John, I appreciate your response, which I understand. You are correct the orders with the take profit "changed values" are indeed still 100C from the initial position. For my set-up, I do not have Scale-in or Scale-out enabled and I am using LIFO matching. Is there a config option available so the Targets will maintain their value relative to their original position when new positions are added (i.e each new position has a 100C target for this example) This way I will be able to easily adjust them on the chart without accidentally moving them into a loss position? Thanks for your time |
