hi, I have a 5 min es footprint chart from A chartbook. when i duplicate to B chartbook the 5 min automatically switched to 900volume chart. it messes with other charts and disfgures other volume charts. none of the charts are linked. none of the studies are linked. please help |

Which chart is changing to a 900 Volume chart, the one in ChartbookA or the one in ChartbookB?

chartbook B . I have noticed this issue is happening based on # of bars calculated values study.

That chart must have a reference to a different chart. The "Numbers Bars Calculated Values" study has this ability, so that would make sense. When you duplicate the chart, it is changing to the same period as the chart that is being referenced in ChartbookB. Keep in mind that the referenced chart is being referenced through the Chart Number defined in the study. So if is is referencing Chart #7 in ChartbookA, it is going to be referencing Chart #7 in ChartbookB, which may not be a chart for which you want this to be occurring. It depends on the particular study that is referencing another chart. You mentioned that you thought it was the "Numbers Bars Calculated Values" study, in which case either delete the study or change the Input for "Reference Other Intraday Chart" to "No". Refer to the following: Numbers Bars: Reference Other Intraday Chart If it is another study, then you would need to remove the study, or change the reference if there is something else you want to reference it to.
