Dear team, I am new to Sierra Charts, and sorry in advance for another help request about an error that I believe is cause by Market data. I have this on my log: 2024-11-12 04:36:22.199 | Trading Evaluator (Order reject). Info: Symbol is unknown for trading. Internal Order ID: 1307. Service Order ID: (none). Symbol: BTCUSD_PERP_BINANCE. Account: TestingAgain * I'm trying to do paper trading using "TradeEvaluator{Trading}", but apparently I chose the wrong instrument for that purpose. However, I have the same issue with Forex currencies, like eurX and USDX What I would like to have on Sierra Charts is the ability as a Paying Client to access instuments on which I can use footprint charts and that I can backtest (mainly Futures (on stocks, crypto and currencies), indexes and CFDs So far I have activated the 11 - Inegrated Advance pack with the Denali Exchange Data Feed, but I'm starting to believe that for my paper trading purposes, but given the nature of the error, I'm starting to believe that I need another data feed, notably on "CME, CBOT, NYMEX, COMEX futures, options, and spreads" as explained here Supported Data and Trading Services: Supported Services Hence I would like to make sure that if I pay the additional "Full CME Group (CME, CBOT, COMEX, NYMEX) for non-professional Trading accounts" feed here " https://www.sierrachart.com/UserControlPanel.php?page=DenaliDataFeed" my issue will be solved, or is there anything else you are seeing and I don't? Thank you so much in advance for your help. |

You cannot use the Trading Evaluator services to trade the symbols that you are trying to. Those are not supported for trading. Instead use Trade Simulation Mode: Trade Simulation First: Set "Global Settings >> Data/Trade Service Settings >> Current Selected Service" to "SC Data-All Services". Press "OK" Once again do not, use the Trading Evaluator services. They are not what you need at all. They do not meet your requirements. You do not need to pay for any real-time exchange fees. You can use delayed data in the case of futures. Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. Other responses are from users. I was about to open a thread related to this issue. I noticed that exchange traded spreads for CL does not appear when "Global Settings >> Data/Trade Service Settings >> Current Selected Service" is set to "Trading Evaluator [trading]". But when I switch it to "SC Data - All Services [data]" the spreads appear. I'm assuming that I have to use Trade Simulation to forward test strategies involving NYMEX spreads. |

Yes you cannot use the Trading Evaluator for these. You can also install another installation of Sierra Chart. One for the trading evaluator and one for SC Data: Using Multiple Data and Trading Services at the Same Time Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support.
