Hi, I'm new to SC. I've downloaded a chartbook as part of a course. On the footprint charts there are 3 Numbers bars calculated values for each chart. All looks fine apart from the Delta day colour shading which is permanently red if negative for the day or permanently blue if positive for the day. It should be colour shading to spot divergence between cumulative delta and price. I've tried to solve the issue looking at the formulas in the study settings but I failed.. Please could you help me? I can upload the chartbook for your review if needed. My mind is blowing. Thanks

Delta day - Cumulative Sum of Volume ask bid volume difference day. I would like the numbers shading ( 3 colours for red and 3 colours for blue) to spot divergence between cumulative delta and price using the same colours for delta and volume in the picture. Thanks

That field is coloring as you want. What you need to keep in mind is that the coloring is based on the highest and lowest values for that particular subgraph. The values you are viewing at that time are all relatively close in value, therefore they are all colored the same color. If you scroll back in time, you will see the colors change.

But, since this is a cumulative value, as the day goes on the numbers are going to tend toward a particular value, so later in the day you will typically see the same coloring for the shown values.

Refer to the following for the description of how the background coloring is done:

On the course video I can see Delta 5450 blue, 5478 intense blue, 5409 blue, 5364 blue, 4817 light blue, 4831 light blue. can I upload the chartbook for you to review please? I simply need help from the support service.

We are not seeing any issue with the chart. We changed it to 5 minute bars and the Cumulative Delta - Day in the Numbers Bars Calculated Values have the color highlighting as we expect. Attached are a few images.

- EndOfDay.png: This shows the data at the end of the current day. The background coloring is all the same red color as the data is all around -2000.
- EarlyDay.png: This shows the different coloring occurring around 07:00 due to the smaller values at that time.
- StartOfTradingDay.png: This shows the coloring at the start of your defined trading day (01:00 according to the Session Times). You will see a blue background where the Cumulative Delta started positive, then changes to pink for the negative values.

Hi John, just to let you know that i solved the issue switching to the symbol CL from MCL. For whatever reason the cumulative delta wouldn't display correctly on micro contracts. See picture for reference. Thank you

Hi, please can you help me to fix the issue with cumulative delta colour shading and make it working for micro contracts as well? Is there any multiplier that need to be changed for micro contracts?

It does not make any sense that it works for CL, but not for MCL.

Please get us an image of what you see for the MCL from that exact same time as your last image (where it switches over the trading day).

MCL is working fine according to that image. You can see the Dark Red where the numbers are much lower (around -2000) and then changes to pink when the new trading day starts and the values are in the tens and low hundreds.
