I have just switched from trading with spreadsheets to trading with ACSIC and I am having one problem that I did not have when using Spreadsheets: Sometimes, not always but very often, when an order is sent, I received the following message from CQG stating that the order was rejected and the explanation is that the Order Action rate exceeded: "Trade Order Error - CQG order update (Rejected). Info: Order Action rate exceeded. Internal Order ID: 52706. Service Order ID: -1007. Symbol: F.US.CLEV14 | 2014-09-04 15:59:59 *" This has happenned with GC, CL and JY symbols and, as I said, it never happenned when using Spreadsheets. Could you help me to understand why the order is rejected and how I can avoid the rejection? |

It sounds self-explanatory to us. We have no idea how many orders you are sending over a period of time. It would be best to contact CQG about it. I am sending the same orders which I used to send when working with the spreadsheets and over the same period of time. I have a question, if I use the functions sc.GetOrderByOrderID, IsWorkingOrderStatus, etc, do you ask CQG to get the information? or the program gets them from the local system. If everytime I call those functions the request is sent to CQG, it could happen that I exceed the Orders Action rate as I ask many times for Order Status. I suppose that the information is got directly from the local system so there is no need to send a query to CQG (like when you manually ask for "Refresh Trade Data from Service" in the Trade menu). No. The information comes from Sierra Chart internal data structures. You really need to contact CQG about their error message. We have never seen anything like this before.
