Hi. I currently have the CBOT Denali data feed with full market depth that I'm using with Apex. I'm looking at trading accounts with Top Step. I'm sure you're aware, they charge an extra $39/month for Level 2 data through Rithmic. Since I am paying for the Denali data feed already will I get the full market depth without having to pay this extra fee? I would only sign up for their Level 1 data which is included. I saw something in another post about having to open 2 instances of Sierra Chart in order to do this. Do I really have to do that or will I be ok with opening just one instance? Thank you. |

Since you already have the "CBOT with Market Depth for Non-Professional Accounts" exchange active, you will get that data into your Sierra Chart regardless of what trading service you are connected to. Therefore, you do not need to pay for this data to TopStep. In terms of another instance, since you are stating that you want to be able to connect to both APEX and TopStep, you should install a second installation of Sierra Chart on the same computer. This will allow you to trade with both services at the same time. Otherwise, you would have to keep switching back and forth between services for your trading. Oh ok. I actually would want to connect to TopStep only. So in that case I assume it doesn't apply and I'm good with one instance. Thank you for the reply.

If you are only connecting to one service (TopStep) then you just need the one installation.
