I put a lot of effort setting up my DoM however, it is a Trading Chart Dom and is attached to my chart. I simply want to detach it and use this DoM as a stand alone DoM not attached to any chart. I can't find any forum thread about this.

Refer to the following for how to detach a chart (Trading DOMs are a form of a chart): Window, CB and CW Menus: Detach/Attach Window (Window) For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |

Support, Your suggestion did not work. Per my post, I want to detach my DoM from the chart and use the DoM as a stand alone DoM. The Window -> Detach method keeps the DoM attached tothe Chart which is not what I'm looking for. Please refer to the enclosed image. |

What you want is to open a Trading DOM for the symbol of that chart. The easiest way to do this is to have that chart as the active chart and select "File >> Open Trading DOM for Chart". This will open a separate Trading DOM window that is detached. Refer to the following: File Menu: Open Trading DOM for Chart (File) For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |

Support, Your suggestions are not what I'm looking for. I want to take the DoM I created that is currently attached to a chart, that I spent a lot of time getting the way I want it, and detach/separate that DoM as a stand alone DoM. I do not want a fresh DoM that I then have to reconfigure. Refer to the enclosed image. I want the DoM in that image, separated from its chart so I can use that DoM elsewhere, as a stand alone DoM. Hopefully this makes sense. Thank you. |

You can not do what you are asking. There is no capability to take a DOM that has been configured with a chart and detach it from the chart. The only option is to open a separate "Trade DOM" and then configure that Trade DOM as you want it. Refer to the information given previously regarding the Trade DOM. For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |

Support, Since a DoM cannot be separated from its chart, if I take the time and reconfigure a new standalone DoM that is separate from a chart, is there an easy way to save my new DoM configuration? So, when I want to open new DoMs I can open them in my preferred configuration? |

When you create the Trading DOM you want, make sure it is open when you save your Chartbook. Then it will be there when you open your Chartbook again. Then you can use that Trading DOM setup as a template to create other Trading DOMs by duplicating it and changing the symbol. Refer to the following: Using Chart Templates: Duplicating Charts / Template Charts For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |
