Brazil BMF Data Question and Symbol Request

Hello All: I got connected to CQG feed and subscribed to the Professional BMF feed on CQG (Brazil futures) they offer as I was look for data on 4 specific symbols "IND", "WIN", "DOL" and "WDO". I see 3 symbols but the "WDO". Is it possible to add the remaining symbol? Also, I was told there may be issues with mapping since I cannot load historical data on any of the symbols (enail from Stage5 attached). I can only see about 1 day of intraday data. We apologize for the delay. We have to add the symbol. The errors you are getting with real-time data and historical data are due to your CQG account. The error with historical daily data, is in part a change we need to make on our side and we will do that but still your CQG account must be authorized for historical data for BMF. Thank you very much for working on this. Stage 5 confirmed they have already enabled historical and intraday data for my Dorman account. They said CQG provides 90 days of intraday and 3 years of historical (email attached). Now I am only able to see 15 days of intraday data on the WDO and DOL symbols and only a few days of intraday data on IND and WIN symbols. Regarding historical data, I now can see all the data on the WDO and DOL symbols but the data on IND and WIN symbols are not accurate, missing several days/candles. When I try to load any of the previous contracts on all of those symbols, I get the message attached. Can you please advise? Thanks again for your help. |

CQG data is only available for the current contract. You can not load data for previous contracts.

I would like to use Market profite tool. How could I use this to see past currect contract? I know in the Brazil brokers there is a different ticker of the same symbol I can see continuous contract info. This is what I am interested in. Cou you please let me know if how to proceed? That would be for the index and the dolar. Thank you

Refer to the following: Continuous Futures Contract Charts But, as we stated above, you can not download data from CQG for a past contract. So using a Continuous Futures Contract will only work with data you already have on the system. For example, if you just started getting the data today for a V contract, then you can not use a Continuous Futures Contract. But, if you collect the V data through until the contract changes to X (or Z) then you can use the Continuous Futures Contract option to display the data for the V and X (Z) contracts. Just make sure you do not try to load data going back further than what you have data for. I am now aware I can get this feed on IQfeed DTN. I just started their trail process. I dont see the BMF feed and none of its symbols mapped on Sierra. Is there any way you can do that please? I will use them since they can provide intraday data up to 180 days. I would really appreciate your continued work with this. Thank you.

You do not have to rely on us setting up any symbols in the File >> Find Symbol list for IQ Feed. You can just manually enter the symbols and open charts for them. I subscribed to BMF IQfeed and there was a recurring issue detected by them where the feed would freeze constantly. They said they cannot solve the issue so I then returned to the CQG feed. I am aware the CQG feed does not keep expeired contract data but I was able to download several years of historical data and over 120 days of intraday from IQfeed. I tried translating the data symbol to the CQG respective symbol and I was not able to do that. Could you help me with this process? Thank you |

There is not a way to do this. Due to differences in how each service sends the data, the files are different.

Thank you for your support with this. So I am able to see historical data for tickers WDO and DOL but I am not able to see it for WIN and IND. This is CQG data for BMF feed. COuld you please advise? Broker has enabled historical and intraday. Thanks again. |
