Question
Based on the setting linked below, a strategy will only be able to react to data with a delay of 1ms or greater, is this correct? In other words, if there is a strategy that requires less of a delay (say in the us/microsecond timespan), it would not be able to function on SC data feeds?

It states "This setting only affects Sierra Chart data feeds. It controls the transmission interval of data from the server, specified in milliseconds. Using a value of 0 uses the default."

First, there is absolutely no way you can ever expect data delivery, down to the millisecond or even within a few milliseconds. That is just not possible at all. It is inefficient and impossible to achieve.

Anyone claiming that, is lying to you. You will need to have a direct multicast feed with the exchange, and have co-location, and the exchange data center.

So we are not going to accept, that there is something wrong here.
