Subject updated from 'Sierra Charts not updating to the current days market' to 'Sierra Charts taking extended time to download historical data'
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Hello,

Last Friday I had updated my charts to the correct symbol for Rithmic, and since then there have been 2 blue messages that appear on my screen one that says downloading historical data bars may not appear until complete and the other says "downloading continuous contract data". Can you please assist me with speeding up this data download, I am ready to take my funded challenge but have ran into some little issues with the setting up process and really would appreciate the help with this subject.

Thank you kindly for your support.

You are getting the data from Rithmic, and Rithmic has a lack of historical data. We recommend NOT using a Continuous Futures Contract with Rithmic data, as the system is trying to get historical data that it can not get from Rithmic. Refer to the following:
Chart Settings: Continuous Contract (Chart >> Chart Settings >> Symbol >> Symbol menu)

If you want/need this historical data, then the solution is to use our Denali Exchange Data Feed instead. Refer to the information at the following link:
Denali Exchange Data Feed

Just make sure that you understand the CME Group requirement that you have a live, funded, futures trading account in order to get the real-time data at the non-professional rates:

For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service:
