Hello, I have created an instrument and then used the 'Add Additional Symbol' indicator to add that to a existing chart. I notice that there is data missing for the created instrument. When I select, "delete and download data', it only updates the primary symbol selected for the chart and not the additional symbol. Is there a way to get the data in the Additional symbol to delete and download again as well without having to remove the indicator and re-add it? Thank you |

Select "Chart >> Reload and Recalculate" to get the "Add Additional Symbol" to fill in where there was missing data previously.

I've tried that many may times as well as "delete and download data" but once it gets stuck, it refuses to update.
Only real solution is to delete the scid files and for it to rebuild. I wouldn't mind if it was just one instrument but I have ten which is time consuming. We need an image of the chart for when this occurs and we need to know the symbols in the chart (both the main symbol and the Add Additional Symbol). Also, we would like you to open a chart for the the symbol used in the "Add Additional Symbol" and get us an image from the same time frame so we can see if there is data at that location or not. Please add the Custom Calculated Symbol into a different region - not in the same region as the main symbol for that chart and then get us an image of that chart. We want to be able to see the scales for that particular symbol.

Please open charts for the constituent symbols that make up that formula symbol (i.e ZNU24_FUT_CME and UBU24_FUT_CME) and make sure they both have data covering the time period where you see the flat line.

If you look at the image above, the charts on the left are all the individual instruments. If you look at the yellow line on the right, this created using individual instruments. If I delete the study, "Add additional symbol, and then ad it back in, then the yellow line will print. But this is impractical to do on manay charts every day. Thank you. |
