Hi Support,

I have a strategy I am testing using one SC instance. The set up is as follows:

I am testing between ES/NQ/RTY/CL markets using two (2) different trading evaluator accounts. Account 1 and Account 2. For example, ES Account 1 and ES Account 2

Each account is using a different reference study mode for the strategy to execute trades. I am getting executions on Account 1 but NOT on Account 2.

It is giving me the error message 'Trading Evaluator (Order reject) - Trade Order Error - No position limit set for symbol for Account 2

I checked under symbol settings to set the position limit but still getting error.

Please advise what the issue might be.

Thanks,
HN

Tell us the exact symbol being traded, and tell us the the exact Trade Account the order is for and we will check.

There were 3 errors listed in trade service log on Friday 6/28/24 you can use as example. I attached screenshot.

The symbols traded were M2K and MES on Account MBOX2.

Thank you

There are no limits set for any symbol. Documentation for how this is configured is here:
Trade Account and Risk Management: Symbol/Product Limits

We set a limit for you for "All_Symbols" of 10. So this globally applies to all symbols.

Hi - I have another question related to position limit. This is related to Account 8888.

I am testing on a separate strategy I have using this account. I set my symbol/product limits as 20. I also triple checked my position limits on the strategy itself that I have set.

I attached two (2) screenshots of the error message. I've been getting these messages only for MES while MNQ and MCL is fine.

Can you let me know what the issue might be? Is this Account 8888 issue or strategy settings issue?

Thanks,
HN

All_Symbols will not apply if there are specific symbols configured with Position limits. You need to check all of the symbols listed on the Symbol/Products Limits tab.

I went to global settings > symbol settings > MES to change the limit back to default 0.

MES,MCL, MNQ all have position/quantity limts set to 0.

This should allow All_Symbols to apply. I even increased from 20 to 50.

I am still seeing the message after changing. Am I doing this correct? See attachment.

Thank you

You need to check for other symbols within the list of symbols on the Symbol/Products Limits tab of the Trade Account settings window for the account. Where it says ALL_SYMBOLS, click there and then it becomes a list.
