When connected to "SC Data - All Services" you are only able to use Sierra Chart in Simulation Mode. When you are connected to a trading service (such as Teton, Rithmic, or CQG) then you can decide at any time whether the system is in Simulation Mode or Live Trading. Thank you but my question was if i use real money or simulated money. I would first actively use sierrachart to practise trading in the chart as it is different to Quantower, for example. And that's why I don't want to risk any money. |

It is not real money. We hesitate to call it a "Demo" account, as that is not really what it is about. Since we are not a broker, there is not the concept of a "Demo" and a "Live" account. For our purposes we use the terms "Simulation Mode" or "Live Trading", as what you are doing depends on what service you are connected to and whether you are in Simulation Mode or not. Okay, so as long as I'm in simulation mode and connected to exactly this server, I can trade without risk. I just want to be sure. Not that I'll suddenly get an invoice :D |

Yes. To repeat, when connected to "SC Data - All Services" you have no option but to be in Simulation Mode. You are not connected to a live account. For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |
