I just switched to sierra chart and AMP.
I live in FL and I'm experiencing a bad storm right now and have open orders on my chart.

Let's say power goes and I'm unable to get back into sierra chart on my computer.

What are the emergency tasks I can take to remove open orders or close active orders?

Just thought it would be a good idea to know what to do in case this happens to me in the future.
I'm used to being able to sign on a phone to do this but I cant here.

Our servers show that you are using the "Teton Order Routing Service" with AMP. As such, your Working Orders (Target and Stop orders) would be either at the exchange or on our servers. Therefore, you do not need to worry about those - you do not need to keep your Sierra Chart open - they will do their job.

The one caveat to this is if you are using a "Market if Touched" or Client-Side specific orders (client side have the word "Client" in them). In these cases these orders are only on your local system, therefore you would need to continue to have the system running. Therefore, we recommend simply not using them.

Additionally, there is a Web-Based portal for the Teton Order Routing Service that you can access from anywhere, including your phone. Refer to the following:

And, of course, you can always call your broker to deal with trades as well.

Okay thanks. On a side note on these client side orders, are these slower in execution?
I like the idea of NOT having my orders visible on the books and just become active once price gets to that level.

I didn't even know what was possible to do.

They would be slightly slower to execute, since the orders are on your Sierra Chart system and not on our servers, or on the exchange themselves. But this would still typically be on the order of hundredths of a second. But the Internet being what it is, it could be longer - we can not make any promises with this. Whereas our servers are tied in with the exchange, so the path does not use the general Internet and gives a more consistent result.

Here is an example of one of the Client side order types:
