To make the Trade Window float, if it is already attached to a chart, select "Trade >> Attach Trade Window to Chart" to remove the checkmark for that option. If the Trade Window is not already attached to a chart, then select "Trade >> Open Trade Window for Chart". For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |

If the window is attached, then "Trade >> Attach Trade Window" will have a checkmark next to it. Select this option to remove the checkmark and have the window "float". If this is not working, then are you actually working with a Trade Window, or is it a Control Bar? In terms of "blinking" we have no idea. The only thing we can suggest is to change the option for "Global Settings >> Graphics Settings - Global >> Other >> Use OpenGL for Chart Graphics" to the opposite of how you have it and see if that removes the "blinking". The option for "Use OpenGL for Chart Graphics" may not be available if you do not have a graphics card that supports OpenGL. Refer to the following: Graphics Settings: Use OpenGL for Chart Graphics (Global Settings >> Graphics Settings >> Other) For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |

Yes i am using the trade window... not control bar. i attached a picture of what i mean. on the blinking i saw a previous support ticket on the support board saying its microsft dialogue windows and that i neeed to download current version which i did. but its still blinking. Turning off graphics setting doesnt work. |

What happens when you select the option for "Trade >> Attach Trade Window to Chart"? With regards to the blinking, we do not know. The only other thing we can suggest is to reboot your system and see if that resolves it. You may be running out of windows resources and that is causing the issue. When your system comes up again, just start Sierra Chart and see what happens. There is a "Detach Trade Window" option in the Window menu dropdown.
