Hi Team,

I've looked at previous support threads on lagging candle stick / not showing and struggling to find the answer after carrying out the instructions. I do not have this problem when simply typing the ticker in the 'find symbol' section. However, I realised that I wasn't getting realtime data. I therefore typed 'Ticker-NQTV' and that problem was solved. However, this is when my problem of lagging candles started. Please see comparison of the two charts with delayed / realtime data attached.

I have read the following documentation:

1. Intraday Chart or Chart Bars Not Updating | Blank Intraday Chart | "Currently no data to display" message for Intraday Chart
2. Help topic 6: No Historical Chart or Blank Chart / Historical Chart Not Updating / Missing Historical Chart Data

I may have missed at step. But this is specifically only happening when I started looking at the tickers in the NQTV format.

Many thanks in advance.

The two charts you show have the standard symbol (IREN) and the NASDAQ TotalView symbol (IREN-NQTV). You are only setup to get real-time data for the NASDAQ TotalView exchange, therefore when you enter a symbol with the -NQTV suffix, you will get the real-time data, and if you do not use the -NQTV suffix, you will get the delayed streaming data from our U.S. Equities Consolidated Tape exchange. Refer to the following:
Denali Exchange Data Feed: Nasdaq TotalView Data Feed Notes

Given the above, we do not know what we are supposed to be looking at in terms of lagging candles, nor do we have enough information to understand.

Keep in mind the candles will be different between the two data sources (NASDAQ TotalView and U.S. Equities Consolidated Tape) as they are different data.

Hi there,

Thank you for your response.

I think I haven't explained it properly. Please see the attached image which compares the two charts. The red circle shows that with IREN-NQTV there are missing candles compared to IREN delayed data? The price reflects real time data but not the candles?

The candles between the 2 data sources eventually look the same (to me) once IREN-NQTV catches up... but on a lower time frame like 15min NQTV candle sticks look completely different from the delayed candle sticks.

Thanks again.

There will be less trading on NASDAQ TotalView for a particular stock and this is probably why you see a difference. What you see is correct for NASDAQ TotalView.

Also it really is impossible for us to interpret what you are presenting in that screenshot. It is something we just simply do not do. We cannot be struggling looking at what you are trying to show and figure out what you are trying to show. These chart images do not meet our specifications and we simply cannot be looking at charts in this way. We have no idea what is missing or not. There is no timescale at the bottom. And we can only look at a real chart. Not an image. This is just not within the scope of our support at all.
