I moved my trading system to a VPS six months ago. It's been perfect since, no more problems with internet connectivity or unexpected shut downs. Since yesterday morning, though, it seems like the SC servers are rejecting my connections. I recognized the issue and was able to switch back to a laptop and keep trading.* *Amazing how Sierra Chart can run two instances on a tiny Celeron processor and not break a sweat. Superb job by the SC team designing this software! Attached is a message log and my IP address. Could you please help me figure out why I can no longer connect to SC from my VPS? |

We do not block any specific IP addresses - this is not the issue. We do see the following in your log: DTC Client socket (5) | Connect event error. Windows error code 10060: A connection attempt failed because the connected party did not properly respond after a period of time, or established connection failed because connected host has failed to respond. *
You are having a connectivity issue. Most likely it is something in the Internet connectivity from where your VPS is located to our systems. Refer to the information at the following link: Data/Trading Service Connection and Symbol Issues: 1.2. Network Communication or Server Problem For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |
