I signed up for 10 Apex evaluations, logged into SC with the base account, and attached my trade window to my chart. Then I clicked menu, settings, order allocation to trade accounts, and added the other 9 accounts. (I tried adding the base account too but I think it's not needed). Then I clicked apply all. And okay. Then > menu settings > enable order allocations to trade accounts. I checked this option. I then made this step, where I think the error is: On the attached trade window on the chart, when setting up the attached order, I clicked "TIF: Good until canceled" instead of the default option which was set to "Day". I did this because this was the setting I had for the attached order on my old trade window. I opened and flattened a position in profit on the base account, and when I checked to see if it copied on the other accounts, it showed that the position was still open on the other 9. I needed to manually flatten the position 9 times on the other accounts after selecting the appropriate accounts from the trade window. How can I make sure the opened positions are all flattened together when the base account is flattened? Thank you. Date Time Of Last Edit: 2024-04-22 15:33:38

From our perspective it is impossible for us to answer this question. You need to make sure that the Order Allocation functionality is configured properly. Documentation is here: Order Allocation to Trade Accounts: Setup Instructions Basically it is configured properly if the order actions are getting copied to other Trade Accounts from the chart it is configured on. That can be verified through the Trade Activity Log. And then you need to analyze the Trade Activity Log to see what has happened: Trade Activity Log Analysis: Determining the Origin of a New/Modified Order You will have to do all of the analysis yourself. We do not do this. For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing Date Time Of Last Edit: 2024-04-22 17:24:07

Thank you. It looks like I didn't follow the steps correctly. it says to click add twice to add the account, and I did this step once. I will try again. Lastly, does the TIF option need to be set to day? Or good until canceled? Thank you John.

The Time in Force needs to be set to what you want it to be and what the exchange will accept. Either Day or Good Til Canceled will work for the CME Group.
