[User Discussion] - Comparing separate days

Good afternoon. I am working on a study collection that would compare ETH vs RTH. I am running into an issue where ETH starts 1 day prior to the RTH session so my data to compare is always off by +/- 1 day.

Do you have any advice for how to overcome this?

I currently have 3 charts.

Chart #1 calcs ETH data
Chart #2 calcs RTH data
Chart #3 would compare the two to get a specific value. Chart #3 is where I am running into the problem where the two numbers are always off by 1 day. Either 1 day forward or backward depending on how I build Chart #3.

Am I thinking about this incorrectly?

Thank you.

We do not know what exactly you are doing, so we can't really give an exact answer.

But, keep in mind that the ETH starts in the prior day, so having a result that is "off" by 1 day could be correct.

I am aware that it is correct. I am wondering how I can overcome that. Is there a better way of approaching this computation outside of what I am thinking?

Not even necessarily looking for an exact answer. Moreso, just a general direction of how to potentially solve.

We can not comment further without specific information on what you are doing.

We have set this as a User Discussion, as there may be other users that have tried to do something similar and therefore understand at a higher level what you are trying to accomplish and can give you some insight.
