The most likely situation is that you did not update your symbols when you changed to the "Trading Evaluator". Keep in mind that each service uses a unique symbology.

Open your chartbooks and select "Edit >> Translate Symbols to Current Service". This will resolve any symbol related issues.

Also, when you change your service and select OK to close the Data/Trade Service Settings window, be sure to select "Yes" to the option in the pop-up window that asks if you want to update the symbol settings.

If the above does not solve the issue, then we would need to see your Message Log by following these instructions:

Follow the instructions here to clear the Message Log:
Message Log: Clearing the Message Log

Close all of the Chartbooks with "File >> Close All Chartbooks".

Open a single chart for the symbol you have an issue with through "File >> Find Symbol". Tell us that symbol of the chart. Tell us about *one* symbol only.

Disconnect from the data feed with "File >> Disconnect".

Connect to the data feed with "File >> Connect to Data Feed".

After the connection and after about 10 seconds, provide a copy of the Message Log following these instructions:

We will then determine what the problem is.

Ok that worked for the main Instance but my other two instances are getting the message attached.

So I have to manually shutdown the other two instances. Then start one up and change the data/trade service settings to trading evaluator. And that seems to work for two instances. But I can't open my third instance after shutting it down. Is there a way for all three instances to connect to trade evaluator without having to shut them down first? Just connect on startup? My third instance is my DOM for which I execute. But I can't figure out how to restart it.

We need to understand how these "instances" are setup. Are these completely separate installations of Sierra Chart or are they sub-instances started by selecting "File >> New Instance"? Or is it some combination of the above?

they are subinstances of the main instance. Attached is my setup.

In this case, you do not need to set any specific service for these sub-instances, as the sub-instances are tied to the main instance from which they are started and use whatever trading service is setup in that main instance.

You do need to update the symbols in each sub-instance if you had to change them in the main instance. So for each instance you have running, you would select "Edit >> Translate Symbols to Current Service". Start with the Main Instance and then do each sub-instance.

Exiting from each sub-instance and restarting will not do anything for the symbols. You have to update each instance.

With regards to sub-instance #3 not running, we would need more information. You do have sub-instances 2 and 3 setup to start automatically when the main instance starts, so there should not be any issue with this. But let us know what is occurring.
