Hi guys, I have recently discovered Sierra Chart and it sounds like an amazing tool for what I am trying to do. The killer features for me being (written in C++, ACSIL).

My problem is the following:

1. I have an IB margin account which I want to use to trade CFDs (all NASDAQ + NYSE stocks and ETFs (about 3500 symbols tradable through IB)).
2. I want to use Sierra Chart for analysis + as an execution engine for my algorithms.
3. Ideally I would use the Denali Data (NASDAQ TotalView) to feed the algorithms and IB CFDs to express my positions.
Example: I have a chart open with GOOG-NQTV as the stock price + some algorithm written with ACSIL which when a signal is triggered submits positions with IB for GOOG-CFD-SMART-NASDAQ-USD symbol instead of GOOG-NQTV.

Can you please walk me through how this would be setup with Sierra? I really like the platform and want to use it as a daily driver...but this is currently stopping me.

All the best,

It sounds like the only thing you are not aware of is the option for "Trade and Current Quote Symbol". Refer to the following:
Chart Settings: Trade and Current Quote Symbol (text box) (Chart >> Chart Settings >> Symbol >> Symbol menu)

Also you would want to use the option for "Use as Trade Only Symbol". Refer to the following:
Chart Settings: Use as Trade Only Symbol (Chart >> Chart Settings >> Symbol >> Symbol menu)

Since you also mention using ACSIL for your trading, refer to the following:
Automated Trading From an Advanced Custom Study: Submitting and Managing Orders for Different Symbol and/or Trade Account
For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service:
