It sounds like the only thing you are not aware of is the option for "Trade and Current Quote Symbol". Refer to the following: Chart Settings: Trade and Current Quote Symbol (text box) (Chart >> Chart Settings >> Symbol >> Symbol menu) Also you would want to use the option for "Use as Trade Only Symbol".
