Dear Sir, I want a chart with 30 Range Bars (i.e. 120 Ticks) on ES. I Changed chart settings to Range Per Bar - Standard (In Ticks) to 120 Ticks and Graph Draw Type to Candlestick Bars. I can see that some of the bars are too small in compare to others while in range bars High to Low Range should be same in all bars. Don't know why this happens. Please help. Chart Screenshot is attached. https://www.sierrachart.com/image.php?Image=1711011540820.png |

Make sure your "Global Settings >> Data/Trade Service Settings >> Common Settings >> Intraday Data Storage Time Unit" is set to "1 Tick". Refer to the following: Data/Trade Service Settings: Intraday Data Storage Time Unit (Global Settings >> Data/Trade Service Settings >> Common Settings >> Common Settings) If you do have to change this, then you will want to redownload the data for each of your symbols. To do this, select the chart and then select "Edit >> Delete All Data and Download". You will need to do this once for each symbol, not for each chart. Also, we recommend using the "Range Bar - True" option in general. Refer to the following: Chart Settings: Intraday Chart Bar Period >> Bar Period Type >> Range Per Bar - Standard (in ticks) (Chart >> Chart Settings menu) For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |
