Initial Balance Discrepancy Between Studies

I am seeing two different values for the initial balance high level from different studies (for yesterday, 3/12/24)
-> One chart is a 4500vol bar chart, session start @ 9:30:00
-> Initial balance study in this chart contains "Daily" IB type with start - end times @ 9:30:00 - 10:29:59
-> Tick rounding is enabled
-> Start/End time method used

This produced an initial balance high lvl @ 5226.25 (for yesterday, 3/12/24)

-> Next chart is a 15m TPO chart, session start @ 9:30:00
-> TPO block length: 15
-> TPO length unit: minutes
-> Initial Balance range: 4 ( 4 x 15m = 1hr)

This produced an initial balance high lvl @ 5223.75 (for yesterday, 3/12/24)

What am I missing that would cause these two different studies, despite being based on the same time period of 1hr, produce different initial balance high lvls? Its worth noting that the initial balance low levels on both studies produced the same level (it was the low of day from yesterday). Any help or insights would be appreciated.

The 4500 volume chart is "Condition Based", meaning the Price Bar is not complete until that condition is met.

For Time Based Studies you need to use "Time Based Charts"

If your 15m TPO chart is in the same Chartbook as the 4500 volume chart .... just overlay the 15m IB range to the 4500vol chart using (Study/Price Overlay)

If the 4500vol chart is a separate Chartbook, open a Time Based Chart apply the IB range study then Overlay it onto the 4500vol chart .... you can then just hide the Time Based Chart in that Chartbook (because it's only being used to overlay a study)

The (Study/Price Overlay) is to be applied onto the 4500vol chart, so remember to delete the IB range in that 4500vol chart & replace it with the overlay from the Time Based Chart.

In addition to what User823591 has to say, you need to keep in mind that the data is taken from the bars for that chart. Since you are specifying the Initial Balance with a start and end time, this will not occur with the Volume Based Chart, as the start time and end time of bars are not exactly on those times. Therefore, the full bars that contain those times are used to determine the IB.
