Hello, I've been trying to set up a live data feed and live trading account with Sierra. I have a funded, live trading account with AMP broker. I also have the myCQG account. I have paid for Sierra Chart Service Pack 11 Advanced - half a year upfront (with 20% discount option) I have CME / CBOT / NYMEX / COMEX Exchange Agreements signed and approved. 1. What need I do in order to get my trading account verified? 2. Should I actually be using CQG or should I be exploring the Teton option? Please. |

To begin with, you have not activated any exchanges. You can do this at the following link: https://www.sierrachart.com/UserControlPanel.php?page=DenaliDataFeed#Exchanges You have also not connected to your live account with AMP. Since you are using CQG, follow the instructions at the following link: CQG Trading Platform Service: Setup Instructions Once you complete the above, then you will be getting the real-time data for the exchange(s) that you activated. -- We do recommend using our Teton Order Routing Service. The one thing to keep in mind is that it only works with the CME Group. So if you were trading another market as well, then you can still use our Teton Order Routing for the CME Group, but you would need another brokerage account to trade the other market and it is best to have a separate installation of Sierra Chart for this. Yes. It's just I was told I would need that verification there shown before proceeding with choosing the exchanges to activate and applying settings to the platform. Clearly I was misled and thank you for clarifying this for me. Regarding Teton. At this stage I may trade on CME and CBOT so I'll stick with CQG for the time being. I'm hoping to choose my focus soon though and for that I shall keep in mind the option. Again, thank you kindly for your help! |

Keep in mind the CME Group is composed of 4 exchanges - CME, CBOT, COMEX, and NYMEX. Our Teton Order Routing works with the full CME Group, not just the CME exchange. So you can use it if you are trading both the CME and CBOT exchanges.

Thank you for this. I will have to confirm on my end but I can see no reason why I would need CQG then. Would it cost me extra to use Teton with AMP Futures account? |

It costs a little less. The Teton Order Routing Service does not have any order routing fees, therefore you save about $0.10 per side on your trades.

I've just confirmed I am not going to need any exchanges outside of CME group. This means the whole myCQG account can be ignored and can use Teton exclusively. Please kindly let me know what steps I need to take to set up Sierra with Teton using AMP Futures as a broker. Do I need to speak to AMP to let them know I'll be using Teton somehow? Are there any requests I need to raise with them? or it's just as simple as choosing the right settings inside the platform? Thank you for any help you can give |

You need to let AMP know to change you over to the Teton Order Routing Service. Follow the instructions at the following link which gives you all the information. Got it! I've requested change of service from CQG to Teton for Sierra; with my Sierra user name included in the application. All's well and on the way. Yes. I understand I do have the "Denali" part already done. In other words, once the AMP guys confirm the Teton set up on their end I can follow instructions to update Sierra and setup with Live trading! ... and then we test! Thank you!
