Possible to use Denali and Teton for CME trading and then use CQG for MJNK data?

I have an account at Amp and I use Sierra with Denali data and Teton routing (which I'm happy with).

But I'm interested in trading the Mini Nikkei 225 (MJNK) and I see that Denali doesnt offer OSE exchange.

...and I also see that Sierra no longer allows order routing through CQG as of 2022?...is this correct?

So...how can I trade MJNK?

I have CQG data paid for this month at AMP because I purchased it before I realized I could no longer use CQG for my main markets in Sierra (CL, ES).

So...can I route orders to OSE through TETON? I don't think so.

...can I chart CQG data in Sierra still?...if so.
.am I correct that Sierra no longer supports order routing through CQG?

Any suggestions are appreciated.

Thank you

You can still use CQG. It is supported. We just do not have support for data for the CME Group and EUREX with CQG. But for the OSE, it is not a problem to get the data from CQG and trade with CQG. Refer to the following (note the Setup Instructions on this page):
CQG Trading Platform Service

This is not a problem. Just install another installation of Sierra Chart set to use CQG:

So...to be able to trade CME products and OSE products...would I have to have two different accounts at AMP? (one for Teton order routing and one for CQG routing?)

....or could I have one AMP account with CQG and then also have Denali data feed for CME data? (so I could use Denali to chart CME products and then route the orders through CQG for both CME and OSE orders?)

Im not understanding what it means when you say "We just do not have support for data for the CME Group and EUREX with CQG"...does this mean just charting or also CME orders are not supported too?

Either choice will work. It is up to you as to what works best for you as to which one to choose.

It means that you can not use the data from CQG for The CME Group or EUREX with Sierra Chart. You have to get that data from our Denali Exchange Data Feed. It is only about the data, the order routing with CQG works for all exchanges that CQG supports.

Hello,

Per the above conversation I set up two account at AMP, one with Teton and one with CQG.

Ive noticed that when I log into Sierra with my "CQG web API" credentials, I still have data for CME products.

Is this because I have paid for Denali data and it comes through when I'm logged into Sierra via CQG?...or is this unsupported CQG data?

If it's possible to have Denali Data while logged into CQG (and routing through CQG) then that means I have misunderstood the situation and I do not have a need for two accounts.

It is the data from our Denali Exchange Data Feed. You will get the data from our data feed for whatever exchanges you have active, regardless of what trading service you are connected to.

If it's possible to have Denali Data while logged into CQG (and routing through CQG) then that means I have misunderstood the situation and I do not have a need for two accounts.

We do recommend this setup, as the Teton Order Routing is built by us and is therefore setup to work best with Sierra Chart. And we certainly do believe that it is the best order routing service available.

But, as we mentioned in post #4, you could setup either way - two different accounts, one with Teton for the CME Group and one with CQG for OSE, where the CME Group data is coming from our Denali Exchange Data Feed and the OSE data is from CQG. Or you can have one account using CQG for order routing with our Denali data for The CME Group and CQG data for OSE.

Hello,

One last question.

I installed two different Sierra Charts (in different folders per the instructions).

It looks like the two different versions are using the same processor cores...which is weird because I thought having two copies would be a good way to spread resources. Does this sound right to you?...is there a way to designate which cores the copies will utilize? When both copies are running im getting maxed out on my 9 and 11 cores.

Additionally, the documentation states that it's best to have Sierra Chart on a separate SSD for best performance....but does this still apply if the OS drive is an NVME? Surely it would be better to have Sierra on the NVME with the OS rather than a separate Sata SSD...what do you think?

Your first question is fully outside the scope of our support. Each installation of Sierra Chart uses its own threads fully separate from the other. That is definitive. There is no other possibility.

You really should have Sierra Chart on a separate NVME as compared to the operating system. If you want the best performance then you need to do this.
