Hello, One last question. I installed two different Sierra Charts (in different folders per the instructions). It looks like the two different versions are using the same processor cores...which is weird because I thought having two copies would be a good way to spread resources. Does this sound right to you?...is there a way to designate which cores the copies will utilize? When both copies are running im getting maxed out on my 9 and 11 cores. Additionally, the documentation states that it's best to have Sierra Chart on a separate SSD for best performance....but does this still apply if the OS drive is an NVME? Surely it would be better to have Sierra on the NVME with the OS rather than a separate Sata SSD...what do you think? |
