Auto Trader not applying to current chart

I have 2 similar problems that I require assistance with. I will place a number in front of them for easy reference in a response.

I created an auto trading system for the ES 1min chart. I was getting orders placed and filled seemingly randomly, and after doing some digging, I found that the system was placing trades exclusively based on the signals on ES 15sec chart. Never have I ever opened a 15sec chart before then. So 1) I'd like to know how to apply the Spreadsheet system for trading based on a specific chart/time frame.

I also plan to backtest and use this system on other time frames and other symbols. I included formulas for my Trade Management study to reference, but these formulas can ONLY apply to the ES 1min chart. 2) If I use other time frames and other symbols, must I create a separate Spreadsheet System for Trading? If so, how do I make these Spreadsheet Systems for Trading apply to a SPECIFIC chart and not the others in the chartbook?

First of all, the "Spreadsheet System for Trading" is only going to apply to the chart on which the study has been added.

1. Given the above, unless there is a reference to a Study/Price Overlay, or if your conditions are setup somehow involving 15 second time increments, then we do not see how this would occur. How do you come to the conclusion that the signals are based on a 15 second chart? Are the Bar Times in the A column showing every 1 minute per the chart that the spreadsheet was associated with?

2. If you are going to have different conditions for a different chart, then you will need to have a separate "Spreadsheet System for Trading". You will need to add the study to the chart you want, and make sure you give the Spreadsheet Name a different name from other charts using the same study. Refer to the following:
Chart Studies: Settings and Inputs Tab >> Spreadsheet Name / DLL File and Function Name

Thank you for resolving the issue of multiple charts.

As for the unresolved issue, when I first saw the seemingly random orders, I first checked the spreadsheet. It showed a new row for every minute that passed and sure enough, there was nothing in the buy column to indicate that a signal occurred. I came to the conclusion that it was using the 15 second chart to place orders because orders were being placed 4 times as often as they should, so I reduced the time frame by 4 and turned on "Show Order Fills." Orders were being placed and filled at the exact times a signal appeared on the 15sec chart.

My conditions have no involvement with the 15 second chart. No part of my spreadsheet System for Trading has any time basis whatsoever, aside from each row being a new minute.

I only have 1 chart and 1 Spreadsheet System for Trading in my Chartbook.

Unless you have the Inputs for "Signal Only Once per Bar" and/or "Signal Only on Bar Close" set to "Yes", then whenever the appropriate cell goes from False to True, you will get a signal. Therefore, in your case, you have the this occurring, and it happened to occur 4 times. This has nothing to do with a 15 second chart or anything of the like. It is just the way you have the system setup. You need to determine what you want from the system and set the appropriate Inputs, or modify your formulas to get what you want.
