I have setup 3 accounts as follows: Menu >> Settings >> Order Allocation To Trade Accounts >>
- Available accounts list = 3 (So, I can now see 3 accounts added). - Order Allocation to Trade Chart Accounts Enabled = Yes - Allocation Accounts list is populated with 2 accounts it will not add the "PracticeAccount123456" to the list. - Allocation Trade Account Multiplier = 1 - Global Settings (both are set as No) Menu >> Settings >> Enable Order Allocation To Trade Accounts = Yes Menu >> Chart Trade Mode On Menu >> Trading Chart Dom Mode On Are there any other settings as the trade is only sent to the account selected in the DOM order panel and not the other 2? Many thanks. Date Time Of Last Edit: 2024-02-06 19:01:36

Make sure everything is setup for that particular chart Trade Window and that you are not viewing/modifying a Trade Window for a different chart. In terms of not being able to add an account, that would be due to that account being the selected account at that moment for that chart. Everything you show and state looks good and we do not see any reason for you to not have the trades being duplicated. After you open a trade, go to the "Trade >> Trade Activity Log >> Trades" and see if you see the trades for all the accounts you have setup. Hi John, Sorry I missed the addendum to item 4) in the "Order Allocation to Trade Accounts" information. If I change the selected chart as you mention I can add the 3rd account but should I enter only 2 of the 3 and select 1 as the lead? I did think you could trade any chart that was linked to the Trading DOM? In Chart Settings >> Linking "I am linking Trade Window = Yes and Trade/Quote Symbol = Yes."
With respect to "Make sure everything is setup for that particular chart Trade Window" I thought that I could enter orders from any linked chart? Still a little lost. I'll try again at 17:00 CST and clear the log before entering an order. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Update: My separate DOM is linked to my chart. Entering a position on the DOM correctly enters the order across all accounts. Entering a position from the linked chart only enters a position on the account that has been selected in the separate (linked) DOM's combo. I cant seem to copy the chart trades. Only the DOM. I've obviously missed something? Many thanks. Date Time Of Last Edit: 2024-02-07 11:07:58

The "Order Allocation To Trade Accounts" is not part of the Linking for the Trade Windows. So you would need to set this up separately for each chart.

You go through the instructions as you have already done for the other chart. Refer to the following: Order Allocation to Trade Accounts: Setup Instructions For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |

Thank you - Here is what I missed and what I can't find. You must first attach a trade window to the chart so that you can complete the steps as set-out. After which it can be closed so that only the chart remains. I am now able to place orders which will be copied to other account. Many thanks. Date Time Of Last Edit: 2024-02-08 11:00:10
