Vwap not starting where I specify

Hi, Trying to use Vwap Bands and I like it to start at the beginning of ETH Globex (3:00PM PT) for the ES Mini and continue through out the RTH pit session. I messed around with the study "time" but no luck, Vwap starts at the end of the previous pit session at 1:15PM PT. |

Use the "Volume by Price" study and set the Input for "Draw Mode" to "POC, VAH, VAL Lines Only" and then in the Subgraphs set the Draw Style for the "POC", "VAH", and "VAL" to be "Hidden". Then set the Volume by Price time as you want in order to get the VWAP as you want it. Interesting hack but I must be doing something wrong. The Draw Type was set to POC,VAH,VAL lines only and made hidden. The Vol Graph Period Type was set to: "From start time to end time" I've tried different graph options but no luck with making Vwap conform to those set times Date Time Of Last Edit: 2024-01-24 09:25:00

You have the start time set to 15:00, but we do not see that time in your screenshot. You would need to scroll back a bit and see where it is starting.

You state that the VWAP is not starting at 15:00 in your chart, but the chart image you gave us did not go back to 15:00, so we could not see that it actually did not start at that time. Please scroll your chart back so that 15:00 is visible and then get us an image so we can see what is occurring with your VWAP. The Volume by Price does not control the "Volume Weighted Average Price" study. We are telling you to use the "Volume by Price" with the setup as we mentioned above, which will give you a VWAP line from the Volume by Price study. You would need to remove the "Volume Weighted Average Price" study. Please do this in combination with what we told you in Post 3 and let us know if you are still not getting the VWAP line starting where you want (from the VbP study).
