Hello Team, Kindly help resolve following issue - I have downloaded Sierra chart tool on my MacOS via crossover. While most of the set up is complete, I am currently not able to apply regression analysis custom study file on the chart. Kindly help advise in case I need to change any settings further. Please note that my crossover is a free trial not full subscription as of now. Attaching the file herewith in case it helps! Just to confirm on the query, while the regression analysis option reflects under the analysis tab, when selected, it doesn't work on the chart. (the file source is from Intuitivesigma trading course (Andre Minassian Sir) if this helps). This is my first time set up. Regards, Rohit Mahagaonkar Canada |

The attached file is a Study Collection, not a custom study. A Study Collection is just what it states - a collection of studies. In this case, it contains 4 copies of the "Polynomial Regression Analysis" study, which is a "User Contributed Study". So you should not have any issue with this, unless you do not have the file named 'UserContributedStudies_64.dll' in the 'Data' folder under you main Sierra Chart installation folder. Check to see if this file is there. If not, then you will need to figure out how to get the file into place, as we are not familiar with CrossOver so we can not say exactly how to do this. On Windows, you would either perform an update, even to the same installation version, which will put the file in place, or you could extract the file from the latest Zip Installer located at the following link: https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/SCZipInstallerList.php For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |

Thanks John for a quick response but I see the above mentioned file UserContributedStudies_64 present in my data folder. I tried using parallel as well but it doesn't work with parallel as well alongside a new installation of windows 11 and new set of Sierra installation files as well. Kindly help advise for any other concerns. I will be glad to get on a quick zoom call if that helps but need help here. Appreciate it!

Try using the "Polynomial Regression Analysis" by itself, just a single one not added through the Study Collection, just added as a single study. Let us know if you are able to do this. The instructions for this are here: How to Use an Advanced Custom Study or a Study Collection: How to Use an Advanced Custom Study Provided To You For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |

ok, so good news! While viewing the instructions for "How to Use an Advanced Custom Study Provided To You link shared above, I stumbled upon an instruction stating "If Sierra Chart is running in Safe Mode, then the Enabled Studies cannot be used." This seems to be the culprit because all this while I have been using this option! I also tried a force login and on second attempt, I see the studies getting applied as expected. Thanks John/team for the resolution here, appreciate your help! Regards, Rohit |
