Hi, i try create intraday chart Market Profiles 30 minutes profiles and got a problem: - Studies: TPO Line & Studies: Market Profiles: I got diffirent value from VAL, VAH as my picture TPO Line Value : Yellow Line Market Profiles: Blue line |

You can not use the TPO Value Area Lines study on a TPO Chart. This is stated in the 3rd paragraph of the Introduction to the TPO Value Area Lines study. You can view this at the following link: TPO Value Area Lines If you really want to have that TPO Value Area Lines study on a TPO chart, you would have to use the TPO Value Area Lines on another chart and then use the Study/Price Overlay to put them onto the TPO chart. Thank you for reply, but i added studies TPO Value Area to Intraday chart (30 Min), i got VAL value is 2055.5 (TPO30mDrawIntradaychart.png) But i checked in Market Profiles and i got VAL value is 2056.6 (MarketProfiles30m VAL.png) It's different value, all screenshot capture when 30 min candlestick finished. |

The line that you are referencing as the VAH in the TPO chart is not the VAH. We do not know what it is exactly, but if you look at the TPO Profile associated with it, you will see that the line starts from above the highlighted Value Area. The Value Area Lines are the light blue ones.

Hi John, i try create 2 chart: 1. 4H bar chart and use TPO Value Line. I highlight VAH VAL from Studies: TPO Value Line 2. (Right) Market Profiles with Daily Setting, i highlighted VAH and VAL from Extend Value Area. You can see 2 value is different. So what i can follow, i mean value is exactly is value from TPO Value Line? |

The reason why this is occurring is because you are putting the "TPO Value Area Lines" study on a chart with a Bar Period of 240 minutes. As such the TPO information is not being calculated at the same increment as the TPO profile - which is set to a 30 minute sub-period. Therefore, to get the same result, you would need to have the Bar Period be 30 minutes, or anything smaller than this that is evenly divisible into 30 minutes (such as 1, 5, 10, but not 7, or 9).

I have same issue. I want to show the TPO value lines from market profile 30 mins to 30 mins bar-chart I've used TPO Value Area Lines but the value is not the same. So how can I do? |
