Symbol changes not reflective in trade window

I have an issue where I've switched from NQ to MNQ or vice versa and the changes don't reflect in the tick values of the trade window. Generally I've had to close things down and re-open them and they'd update. Both the symbol and trade quote are the same. This time, I cannot get it to revert back. Why does this happen and how can I fix it?

Example: I switched from MNQ to NQ, with 5 lot already in place the values don't change in the trade window. Switching to 1 it does not update the valus either. Attached example.

Check your "Chart >> Chart Settings >> Symbol >> Currency Value per Tick" and make sure it is set correctly for both the NQ and MNQ. It should be 5 for NQ and 0.5 for MNQ. See attached. Switching from MNQ to NQ does not change these values.

The first silly question we have to ask is if you selected the "Apply All" button (or had selected OK and re-opened the page)? Changing the symbol will not update the information on the page until you do one of the above actions to force an update to the page. Yes, I'd hit apply all and the values don't change in the trade window or the chart setting tick values.

It's hit or miss. I fixed it again by closing Sierra and re-opening, but this doesn't always work.

This absolutely should not be a problem, at least not with the Chart Settings. The Trade Window may need to be closed and re-opened to ensure the information gets updated. Can you please get us your Chartbook so we can take see if we can reproduce this with your chartbook. Let us know the particular chart on which you are having this issue. My previous post about this was deleted, but I see this all the time. Have for at least a couple years now. So does everyone else I know who uses SC. The easiest way (for me anyway) to reproduce the issue, is to add a TO symbol (micros) to a mini chart. Then the tick value stays the mini value instead of changing to the micro value. My solution is that I just always manually set the tick value any time I add a TO symbol for micros (or remove it to go back to minis).

By TO we assume you mean "Trade Only" symbol. The "Currency Value per Tick" will not change when you add a "Trade and Current Quote Symbol". This has to be done manually. The Currency Value per Tick is always going to be based on the main symbol entered for the chart.
