Trading Evaluation Trade Account issue

Dear support team, I created a Trade Account named 'TestAccount'. This one is not listed in the Trade Account Monitor for some reason. When I edit the account via 'Manage -> Edit Unlisted Account' the configuration window opens. Then I tried to delete the trade account via 'Manage Trade Account' but a popup opens which says I have to perform an update first. But when I do this a server error occurs that says operation is not allowed. I have had issues with duplicating accounts from an exiting one. Now I have at least two accounts ('TestAccount' and 'Test') which are not listed in the Trade Account Monitor nor can be deleted by the steps I explained above. So my question are: Why are these accounts not listed in the Trade Account Monitor and why isn't it possible to delete them? Please help. Thank you. Date Time Of Last Edit: 2023-11-03 16:28:29

During the process of creating those accounts, you would have to perform a Commit and if the account exists, then you would get an error message indicating the trading account already exists. Ok but how do I delete the account if I don’t see them in the overview? And as I said I assume the accounts have been created but they are not listed?

You cannot delete the account. Those accounts are not associated with your username. You have no ownership of them.

Ok I don’t get it. I created the account as shown in this video: https://youtu.be/6ARpkkpHUIs?si=svaLO0muVsQTjE5r During the creation (coping from my exiting one) I got asked if I want to associate my username to them what I answered with yes. So how can I get the ownership back? |

You could not have successfully created this account: TestAccount And you do not have ownership of it. You need to create another account with a different name. Ok, now it's clear. I thought the user name is the unique identifier and I can use any account name under it as long as I haven’t already used it. But it's the other way around. The account names are the identifiers and if someone is already using it then I can't use the same name. Then I must have overlooked the popup after the commit that the name had already been used by another user. I thought the whole time that something went wrong during the creation and I don't see the account because of an issue in the list. Thank you for the clarification. |
