Hi Guys, since yesterday i am having multiple problems.

My trigger price is failing and removing entry but profit take orders have remained and result in reverse positions as to what was intended. This has cost me money.

Same thing today.

The NPL in my trade window is completely out.

I am trading via Ritmic DTC which is showing the correct balance.

Any ideas please?

I have attached tradeactivity query file.

Thank you

You really need to look at the Trade Activity Log itself directly to understand what is happening:
Trade Activity Log: Viewing Historical Trade Activity

Some of the problems are related to this:
Info: sell order stop price must be below trade price.

There are other orders rejected by Rithmic but there is no reason given.

Also refer to our Rithmic policy here:

Hey John, yes i get that. What i am saying is that when trigger/stop entry are breached that the order fails it is not cancelling the stop loss and profit take targets so that this in turn has been creating an entry order that i did not want

It is the remaining stop loss and profit take targets that are creating the problem. Not the entry stop proce/trade price.

Hope this clarifies?

Thanks

I noticed the same a few days ago. Hard to describe but somehow the entry line dissappeared while bracket remained. When I saw this I flattened which caused some phantom positions. Not really sure if these where real positions or just graphic issues. Fixed this while going back to 2555.

I think this issue is/was related to the new feature "Support Scale In With Pending Attached Orders Only."

Hope it helps.

Thanks nosast, yes i think you're right. I've been using support scale in as a change i've made this week.

John and team, i think nosast may have identified the source of an issue.

Thx

Post #4 5 are referencing different options.

Since you are using Rithmic we cannot help you.

See if you can reproduce the problem with Trade Simulation Mode.

If there is an issue with this:

I think this issue is/was related to the new feature "Support Scale In With Pending Attached Orders Only."

We need step-by-step instructions to reproduce in Trade Simulation Mode. For now do not use it if you know it is causing an issue. Really this option is relatively simple, it allows an order to be identified as a Scale In order, when there only pending attached orders present.

Would love to give you these instructions but I really don't know how it happenend. It happened twice in live mode and cost me money - never had it in simulation mode. I also did not have this new option activated while it happened. After the second occurence I switched back to 2555 as a quick fix.

All I can say is that I had a trade on with usual bracket and did not scale in or out. But after I closed it a few seconds later I had a postion on with no bracket which I called a phantom position. In that moment I flattened and checked on the web panel to make sure I'm really flat.

Strangly the next day I wasn't able to trade as SC still showed a ghost position with a huge loss, causing GPNL limits to Lock trading. I then deleted trade activity going back a few weeks and had it redownloaded. Since then and going back to 2555 this has not appeared again.

Update Sierra Chart to the current version. This problem could be related to what is described here:
Versions 2554 through 2560 To Be Locked Out. Upgrade Required.
