Hi, so the problem occure each 4 seconds with a micro freezing during 2 seconds. It happened when I manage on the plateform through the menus, (the selector color doesn't move even if I move my mouse) and at the same time, the real time data feed freeze too, with the chart and the DOM for instance. My chartbook is very light for testing, just one chart and one DOM, set to standard. When the chart or the DOM is closed, no freezing occured I've noticed that behaviour happened only on CME SP500 and not when I'm using the EUREX DAX. Do you have an idea of what could be the problem? Hello, I am having a similar problem. Sierrachart freezes after 4 seconds for 2 seconds then it works for 4 seconds and refreeze for 2. It is a very regular cycle. Everything freezes from the crosshair, the clock indicator, the data feed. Never happened before. Nothing changed in my system. No other software does it. I tried to install the most current version of Sierrachart but the freezing is still there. Please help Thank you Mauro |

The freezing stopped when I turned off windows realtime antivirus protection. It was the only other process running. Strange that I never had this problem before.

Thank you guys giving me some help, the next day for me the freezing disapeared on the SP500 but the lagging still. My chartbook was quite old with lots of studies with lot of different Time frame, long time and short time, so, I've started to build a new one with the same spirit but with the new version of sierra and it seems to work well, I mean my frame rate is not at the top level but I can work with. I've heard that creating two chartbook with different needs could be also relevant as create one with only the chart who needs speed and small frame rate and an other one with all the heavy chart with long period data. I don't know if it's just an believe but it seems to be faster. Date Time Of Last Edit: 2023-10-26 18:45:15
