Unexpected Behavior from Watchlist Symbols

1. Clicking on watchlist symbols loads the wrong symbol in the chart, sometimes loading a symbol that is 1-3 symbols further in the list.

2. Using the keyboard shortcut for next symbol in the watchlist, loads different contract months of the same symbol instead of the next symbol in the list.

3. All watchlists, for all charts, in all chartbooks, in all instances must be individually manually rolled. Please add a shortcut to Rollover expired symbols in all watchlists.

1. Can you please give us your Watchlist list so we can see if we can reproduce this with your list. Refer to the following for how to attach a file to this thread:
https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=PostingInformation.php#AttachFile

2. Is the option for "Chart >> Only Symbols in Watchlist" enabled? It sounds like this does not have a checkmark next to it, in which case the +/- keys are going to move between all the files in the Data folder.

3. We have added this to our list of requests. We can not say when we will get to any particular request.

1. Attached simple CB and SymbolList.

2. Attached image, showing watchlist from toolbar compact watchlist, and opened Edit Watchlist. Several duplicate symbols are being added to watchlist that can only be seen in Edit Watchlist view, we think this is causing the issue. After rebuilding watchlist, problem seems to return at some point.

3. Note, US indices symbols are not rolling after clicking Rollover Expired symbols, though volume rolled early in Monday session.

Your Watchlist list actually has the multiple entries for NGF4.NYMEX. Most likely the control bar option is filtering them, which we will check.

But remove the extra entries and let us know if it returns.

In terms of the rollover, it does not sound like the date rollover has occurred, therefore the symbol is not officially expired.

If you have the option for "Global Settings >> General Settings >> Chart >> Detect Rollover Of Current Futures Contracts Symbols Based On Real Time Volume" set to "Yes", then you will get a notice when volume for the next contract is larger, but this will not affect how the Watchlist works. Refer to the following:
General Settings Window: Detect Rollover Of Current Futures Contracts Symbols Based On Real Time Volume (Global Settings >> General Settings >> Charts >> Symbol)
