Update - 2017-04-11: We have set up this page here for Additional Language Support for customizing the menus with different languages:
Additional Language Support Sierra Chart supports the ability to customize the names of menu commands. This is done through Global Settings >> Customize Menu Items. These new translated names are stored in the MenuCustomizations.XML file in the Sierra Chart program folder. With the help of someone from the Czech Republic we have created translated menus for the Czech language. The file is attached. It is named MenuCustomizations.Czech.xml . To use this file follow these instructions: 1. Exit from Sierra Chart. 2. Save the file to your Sierra Chart program folder. Usually C:\SierraChart 3. Rename the file to MenuCustomizations.xml 4. Hello Support Team, I am willing translating the menus into German. As a long-term project I am also willing translating the Sierra Chart documentation as a German version, given you considering that helpful. Any idea or advice? Thank you for your consideration, Best, Chris |

This will be great if you can translate the menus. You just need to enter the menu translations through Global Settings >> Customize Menu Items. When done you will then need to attach the MenuCustomizations.XML file in the Sierra Chart folder here, so others can use it. We do not recommend translating the documentation because that is an absolutely enormous task . Also the documentation is updated every day. Hello Support-Team, please find attached the file MenuCustomizations_German_scversion_1222.xml. The xml.file is coming from Sierra Chart Version 1222. Trying to find matching terms and staying consistent in using them. Sometimes the translation is more descriptive than literally. I kept terms like "Chart" or "Quote Board", since they are well known in German. Please everybody feels free using the file. Although I did my best it comes without guarantee for correctness. To use this file follow these instructions from Sierra Chart Engineering: 1. Exit from Sierra Chart. 2. Save the file to your Sierra Chart program folder. Usually C:\SierraChart 3. Hallo das ist hilfreich mit der Übersetzung. Nur in den Menüs ist alles immer noch in English. Echt schlimm das in der heutigen Zeit !Ich kann die Plattform so nicht benutzen. Steh da grad echt auf dem Schlauch. Agena Trader ist auf deutsch. Aber unausgegorene Hobby Plattform..... geht auch nicht. Hat jemand einen Tipp vielleicht für eine Plattform auf Deutsch ! wäre dankbar für Hinweise. |
