CQG does not allow for multiple connections. You are trying to connect to your CQG account from multiple computers, but since they do not allow it, you are not able to do it. This is completely separate from the setting to allow the Denali Exchange Data Feed to be run on two separate computers. The change you made will allow you to get the data to both computers, but with CQG denying the connection, you are not able to connect, therefore you are stopped at that moment. You can check with your broker to see if there is an option to allow multiple connections for CQG, but we are not aware that is available. In the meantime, we recommend setting "Global Settings >> Data/Trade Service Settings >> Main Settings >> Current Selected Service" on the second computer to "SC Data - All Services". When you select OK to close that window, you will be prompted to update the symbols - you will want to answer "Yes" to that question as the symbols used for CQG are different than what is used for "SC Data - All Services". If you need to do this for other chartbooks, then open those chartbooks and select "Edit >> Translate Symbols to Current Service". Doing the above will allow you to get the data to that second computer, but you will not be able to trade from it since it is not connected to CQG. If I were to buy package 11, I can use up to 3 computer log in at the same time right? Can 2 or 3 computer have the same log in for same data feed for futures ticket like ES & NQ (CME)? Do I just pay your data feed for $11.50 per month one time or do I need to buy data separately for each computer? |

You can certainly run Sierra Chart on two or three computers at the same time but you will be restricted with the real-time data from exchanges. What if I need to use the same exchange like have live data for ES & NQ for all 2-3 seperate computers? Do I need to buy data feed for each ome seperately = $11.50 per month? I am with AMP Futures which uses CQG data feed but I heard I still have to buy data feed with Sierra seperately.

Hi Julia, for Real-time CME Group Data within Sierra Chart you would need to use the Feed offered within Denali. Futures Exchanges want to charge you based up on the number of devices (computers) that you are connecting to Real-time Data simultaneously, so although you can have Sierra Chart Software on 2 systems simultaneously you would need to pay a 2nd Real-time Data Exchange Fee in order to have Real-time Exchange Data on 2 systems (computers) at the same time. Denali Exchange Data Feed: Denali Exchange Data Feed on Two Computers Simultaneously (note you are limited to activating Real-time Futures Data on 2 computers (paying 2 exchange fees) to go beyond that would make you a professional and so would increase the cost of all your data by 10x to 100x) Denali Exchange Data Feed: Supported Exchanges (Exchange Fees) |

Questions: 1) Do I need to pay $11.50 per month for the Denali data even though we are using funded account such as Apex that uses Rithmic data feed? 2) Can I have 1 computer with Rithmic data feed and another computer with Denali data for Sierra chart? So this way I don't have to pay for live data with Denali 2 times each month = $11.50 * 2 computer = $23? 3) Does the package 10, 11, and 12 include the Denali data feed for $11.50 per month in the price already or is the Denali data feed seperate? I currently have the package 11 right now and have paid for the next 6 months. 4) What if I only need the Full CME Group for non-professional trading accounts for $3.50 per month or top of book for $1.25 per month? What is the cheapest basic data feed package that I must have? For example, can I choose a cheaper data feed package such as $1.25 or $3.50 instead of paying $11.50 per month for the Denali data package? 1) Are we still talking about 2 installations of Sierra Chart on 2 different computers? Or 2 installations of Sierra Chart on the same computer? You can use CME Futures Data from Rithmic if you wish; if you will be using the Rithmic Data integrated with Rithmic Order Routing for APEX, follow the instructions here: Rithmic Trading Platform Service: Setup Instructions (note: the key element of the set-up instructions is to enable [Common Settings]: "Allow Support for Sierra Chart Data Feeds"="No") 2) Yes 3) The cost of Real-time Stock or Real-time Futures Data is not included in the Price of Sierra Chart Software Usage Time. Description of Service Packages and Pricing: Packages 4) You can activate the CME Group Exchanges that you want Real-time Data for, you can do that via #3 here: https://www.sierrachart.com/UserControlPanel.php?page=ServicesActivation#DenaliCME Then please re-connect to the Data Feed: File Menu: Connect to Data Feed (File) Date Time Of Last Edit: 2023-10-23 14:43:04
