Change from SIM to Live

Dear All, I cannot change from SIM to live. I have my charges paid, I have my Denali feed, current selected service set for SC data, symbols rolled over and still does not work. I turn off SIM and when I place a trade it goes back to SIM. Can you please advice? Thank you.

You have your current selected service set to "SC Data - All Services". As such, you are not connected to a trading service and therefore are not able to get out of simulation mode. What trading service/broker are you setup with? Once we know this, we can then point you to the proper instructions. Dear John, thank you. One more thing. Now the historical data is not loading into the intraday chart. Can you please advise? I did symbol rollover. Thank you. |

Make sure you have changed the symbols to be what is needed for the service you are connected to. Each service uses a different symbology. When you change your service and select OK to close the Data/Trade Service Settings window, you are prompted if you want to change the symbols - you should answer Yes to this unless you have a reason why you are only changing for a short period of time. But, if you open another chartbook, or forget to do the above, then you can do this by opening the chartbooks and then selecting "Edit >> Translate Symbols to Current Service". If the above does not fix the issue, then we need to know the symbol of the chart for which you are having an issue. Also, please give us some additional information, such as what data is missing? Is it a hole in the data? Are you just not getting data further back than you expect?
