Hi, To have an alert i simply put a horizontal line to which i attached an alert. When the price crosses i have an alert. However if the particular chart with the horizontal line is not visible, because a chart with a different symbole is displayed, the alert is not triggered. When the chart is brought up and the line has been crossed the alert is triggered. Any way to avoid this ? Thanks Peter Date Time Of Last Edit: 2023-09-25 11:28:20

As long as the chart still has the drawing and the alert, then the alert will occur, even if the Chart is not the active chart at that time. This is also true even if the chart is not part of the Active Chartbook, or if the chart is hidden. Therefore, we are wondering if you are not looking at the chart, or if you have actually changed the symbol for the chart. If you change the symbol for the chart, then that drawing is no longer valid until the symbol changes back. Hi, I changed the symbol of the chart. Basically i'm looking for a way to simply create an alarm with a horizontal line which is triggered even if the chart displays another symbol. Is that possible ? Thanks Date Time Of Last Edit: 2023-09-25 18:19:33
