As long as the chart still has the drawing and the alert, then the alert will occur, even if the Chart is not the active chart at that time. This is also true even if the chart is not part of the Active Chartbook, or if the chart is hidden. Therefore, we are wondering if you are not looking at the chart, or if you have actually changed the symbol for the chart. If you change the symbol for the chart, then that drawing is no longer valid until the symbol changes back.
