So I know you must get a lot of these, but after searching around I've become overwhelmed, and a lot of stuff I just don't understand. I want to buy a 6 months option, but I don't want to screw something up, and I would like to ask for help. I would like to use Sierra Chart only for charting EURUSD on Forex, no trading. I don't know which package I need. I want to use Real time data, Market profile, Numbers bars, Volume profile, and DOM. Look, I apologize, but I really am lost. Is there a short answer, just someone to say "You need package 10 with this data feed", or something simple? I'm looking for the cheapest option that gets me there. Thank you so much for the help. You need Package 5. That is all. The real-time FOREX data from FXCM is included with all our packages, as well as CFD, Crypto Currency and Market Statistics. Thank you for you response. But I don't understand one thing here. In your first link, under the "What is included section" it is stated: Market Depth Data: No. For market depth data for the Forex markets, and also various other markets like equity index, precious metals, and oil, use the Delayed Exchange Data Feed which provides delayed futures data. This data feed provides market depth data. So, if I understand correctly, I wouldn't be able to use the DOM in real time? Perhaps I'm getting these things wrong. We do not have Market Depth data for the FOREX data. If that is a requirement for you, then you would need to see if you can get the data from another source. Otherwise, you can still use the DOM, it just will not have the Market Depth in it. As stated in the link you reference, you could use the CME Group Currency Futures as a surrogate for the Market Depth data. But to get this data at the "non-professional" rate, you need to have a live, funded, futures trading account. Refer to the following for more on this topic: Real-Time Exchange Data Feeds Available From Sierra Chart: Understanding and Accessing Data From the CME, CBOT, NYMEX, COMEX Exchanges In terms of Market Depth data for FOREX, we have connectivity to DTN IQ Feed and Interactive Brokers as possibilities that will have this data. You will need to check with each of these companies to see if they have the data available and what it will cost. I see. I will then go without DOM and just use Numbers Bars and Market Profile for now. Thank you very much. |
