Hi Folks, I have an issue with one of my trade windows. I enclose two shots of it, one is from my NQU numbers bar (chart #13), the other from the NQU 2000 tick (chart #2) In the latter, I traded a micro last thursday, after which I reset the chart to NQ. Pls note how both windows show NQU3.CME for a symbol. However, the window from chart#2, eventhough stating NQU3.CME still calculates MNQ3.CME. This started last friday. Today I checked by doing a sim trade from the 'rogue' window and indeed it traded micro's. This is chart #2 btw. I have not set the chart to 'use as trade symbol only'. Reload/recalculate did nothing, the problem persists. Could you please Explain what the issue is, and Guide me on how to cure it? Thanks a lot in advance, Lex. |

The Trade Window is specifically associated with a chart. Therefore, you would need to look at the chart for which the trade window is associated to figure out what is going on. The item we question the most is how you know that the MNQ3.CME was traded and not the NQ3.CME? If you are looking at the Profit and Loss for that chart, then the issue is probably that you had changed the "Currency Value per Tick" to match the MNQ, but did not change it back when you changed to just the NQ (most likely using a "Trade and Current Quote Symbol"). Thank you for ur quick reply John, I checked the trade log, which stated NQ and the correct currency value. Then found the currency value in the settings, which was indeed 0,5. That was none of my doing, I didn't touch that when switching to MNQ and back. However, this was the cure and it 's back to normal. It looks as if on changing to MNQ the value went from 5 to 0.5, but not back to 5 upon resetting to NQ. Issue solved, thank you. |
