Hi Support, I've just migrated my Top Step account from Tradovate to Sierra Chart. I've got everything set up and tested on my practice account but when I switch to my live account none of the settings are saved in the charts and the DPL still shows the profit from my practice account. How do I get the chart to match the trading window? Attached are some screenshots. Thanks. |

You also need to set the Trade Account for the chart:Basic Trading and the Trade Window: Main/C >> Trade Account (Selecting Trade Account for Chart / Trade DOM) For help with the Daily Profit/Loss, refer to: Help With Daily Profit/Loss Value We do not know what you mean by this: none of the settings are saved in the charts

Thanks i've tried that and i still get the same issue so perhaps i am talking about the wrong thing. Attached is a screenshot of the TP & SL lines i see in my chart on practice but not live. I can't figure out how i turned these on?

After you place a trade with your "Live" account, open the "Trade >> Trade Service Log" and copy and paste what is in there to this thread. We will take a look and hopefully the information is in there for what occurred.

There is nothing in the log showing any issues. So there is not an order rejection or anything along those lines. When you place a trade on your Live account, what exactly do you see? Are you not getting any position lines? If you open your "Trade Activity Log" is it showing the orders and the open position in there? Also, how are you entering the order? Are you doing it different for the one account versus the other? Hi John, Thanks for getting back to me. I actually think it might be a bug with my live accounts. I have two Topstep accounts and each live account comes with a practice account. I've copied the chart setup exactly the same on all 4 and it works on both practice accounts but not the live ones. I've also created a new sim account and again it works fine so its not something i'm doing wrong (i don't think). When you place a trade on your Live account, what exactly do you see? Live Accounts - Nothing in the chart but i can see the trade in the DOM. Practice Accounts - I see the lines on both the chart and the DOM. Are you not getting any position lines? Live Accounts - No. Practice Accounts - Yes. If you open your "Trade Activity Log" is it showing the orders and the open position in there? Yes Also, how are you entering the order? Are you doing it different for the one account versus the other? Same process in both account types. Thanks, Adam. |

It sounds like you do not have the correct account selected for both the DOM and the Chart. Each window has its own Trade Window in which you need to select the proper Trading Account.
