How to move one bar each time

Hi, Please advise two questions: (1) How can I move one bar only each time? (2) How can I get a hollow candlestick bar? I failed to do so by changing the chart settings in SC. Thanks for help. Best RGDs Charlie |

1. We do not understand what you are wanting to do here. We need more information. 2. Select "Chart >> Graph Draw Types >> Candlestick Bars Hollow". 1. If you use the right and left arrows on your keyboard this should move you one bar at a time. 2. Select from the menu at the top of the main Sierra Chart window - "Chart >> Graph Draw Types >> Candlestick Bars Hollow". This is not in Graphics Settings. For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |

Hi: 1. We have done both of these ourselves and they work just fine. With regards to your scrolling one bar at a time, does the chart not move at all? or is it moving by more than one bar? Another option for scrolling one bar at a time is to select the arrows on either side of the scroll bar at the bottom (if the scroll bar is not present, then select "Chart >> Show Scrollbar" and make sure there is a checkmark next to this to have it show) and click on the arrow for the direction you want to move one time. It will move by 1 bar. -- With regards to the Candlestick Hollow, try selecting the option from within "Chart >> Chart Settings >> Bar Period >> Graph Draw Type". With regards to the Candlestick Hollow, try selecting the option from within "Chart >> Chart Settings >> Bar Period >> Graph Draw Type". -----It does not work (pls refer to the attachment). Your bars are being colored by one of your studies (which is overriding the graph draw type), you can see that as there are bars that are clearly colored opposite to their direction. Check all you studies and set drawstyles accordingly. -----no matter using arrow or scroll bar, they both make the chart move many bars, Check that your scroll multiplier is set to 1 General Settings Window: Scroll Multiplier (Global Settings >> General Settings >> GUI >> Scroll) Global Settings -> General Settings -> GUI -> Scroll Multiplier |
