If there is a question about, an order not filling based on queue position, not sure how we can analyze that. There is not the capability for us to even see what is happening on the server regarding this. That capability would have to be developed. We will first check that the queue position is being maintained on the server. However, just because you see the queue position go to zero on your side does not mean it is going to fill on the server. It likely will not. If there is an issue where you are saying that an order does not fill when it definitively should because both the bid and ask prices have moved through the order price and based on the side of the order it should have filled, then we would need the Service Order ID (Trade >> Trade Orders Window) to look into that. That should never happen. And we never notice that ourselves. Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. Other responses are from users. The Trade Orders Window is already empty as the order filled the next time when price moved WAY past it. Nonetheless you might find the needed information in the Trade Activity Details here for the 2 open positons' closing: ActivityType DateTime TransDateTime Symbol OrderType Quantity PositionQuantity OpenClose BuySell Price Price2 OrderStatus FillPrice FilledQuantity HighDuringPosition LowDuringPosition Note TradeAccount OrderActionSource InternalOrderID ServiceOrderID ParentInternalOrderID FillExecutionServiceID AccountBalance ExchangeOrderID ClientOrderID TimeInForce Username Fills 2023-09-29 15:57:15.519711 2023-09-29 15:57:15.745000 ESZ23 Limit 1 1 Close Sell 4324.25 Filled 4324.25 1 4324.50 4323.00 2TargetsWithBEStop.twconfig DCS-2309 Trading Evaluator (Filled). We are doing an update on the server now which should address the issue.

Thank you guys for the all those updates: they really worked well lately on the Emulator and the "Zeroth Queue Position" has almost never happened in 2024! I have thou another mistery for you that might just help point in the right direction to some anomoly still left in the code: I have just been assigned Position 245 out of 137 (see screenshot attached). |

Thank you ghuys for keeping the EMulator in a good shape since. I have one observation that happens about 10% of the time and normally does not cause problems, but every now and then whne it does make a difference means a lot: Here it is: WHEN THE TARGET's QUEUE POSITION FROM THE START SHOWS ZERO => It will EVER GET FILLED. Unless price moves past Target, of course then it will get a fill. And this is what normally happens, but every now and then (when Target is placed REALLY WELL!) then it never will and kind of makes the difference between a Winner Trader and a Total Loss (as it comes back to the Stop). So could you check out please why Sierra sometimesstarts out with showing ZEROth position in the queue? |
