Hi, I just came across this locked thread Teton Order Routing Maintenance Is there a system status page that SC users could subscribe and get auto-notified via email/SMS or a process in place where SC support would send emails to all Teton users during such planned and unplanned events? It's quite concerning to learn there was an outage on May 6th with no specifics on when Teton was unavailable and for how long. This is crucial for algo traders. I feel we urgently need a dedicated sticky thread to display a log of system issues for Teton users. |

That was on the weekend and in the morning. It did not cause any interruption. This is by no means considered an outage at all. There is no thread because there have been no incidents to even report: I feel we urgently need a dedicated sticky thread to display a log of system issues for Teton users.
And there is so much redundancy in the system, that any issues would be handled with redundant systems and automatically.

Thanks for your response and assurance. I will sleep better knowing I don't have to worry about this. In the corporate world where I come from, there are always unforeseen outages related to 3rd parties and out of our control (related to ISPs).

That particular thread is not a notice about some kind of a problem that occurred that we were fixing. There was simply work being done on the physical servers which would only be done, on a Saturday or maybe a Friday evening. The last case was on the Internet connectivity for the server. Regarding ISPs, Teton order routing utilizes three different ISPs. Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. Other responses are from users. Perfect. Thanks again. Teton has been EXTREMELY stable for me since I have gone live. I runs non stop 24x4 and reboot my laptop only once a month....not a single hiccup with my connection to report :-
